Using microbial degrading bacteria to "eat" waste

Xiamen Rongjia Industrial Co., Ltd. has developed an advanced organic waste microbial treatment technology, which has been recognized at the national level by being included in the list of key new products, key environmental protection practical technologies, and the national scientific and technological achievements promotion plan. The project also received support from the National Development and Reform Commission for resource conservation and environmental protection initiatives. This innovative technology offers a sustainable solution for managing solid waste in cities, industrial zones, mining operations, and educational institutions across China. The core process involves using specialized microorganisms to break down organic waste through enzymatic degradation. These microbes rapidly decompose the waste, converting approximately 96% of it into heat energy, carbon dioxide, water, and trace amounts of ammonia. After processing, only about 4% of the original material remains in the form of a biomatrix, primarily consisting of inorganic minerals, bacterial bed matrices, and microbial residues. From the moment waste is introduced to the system until the final byproducts are generated, the entire process is fully automated and enclosed, ensuring no secondary pollution is released into the environment. According to tests conducted by relevant research institutions, the residue produced is highly beneficial for soil improvement. It contains 82.5% organic matter, with total nitrogen (N) at 0.037%, total phosphorus (Pâ‚‚Oâ‚…) at 0.966%, and total potassium (Kâ‚‚O) at 2.88%. The nutrient content is comparable to that of organic fertilizer, making it an effective and eco-friendly soil enhancer. This microbial treatment technology achieves a volumetric efficiency of 100% and a waste reduction rate exceeding 96%. For instance, using the RJW-550A model to process one ton of organic waste costs around 165 yuan, significantly lower than the current domestic waste disposal cost in Xiamen, which exceeds 300 yuan per ton. This makes the technology not only environmentally friendly but also economically efficient, offering a promising path toward sustainable waste management.
