Using microbial degrading bacteria to "eat" waste

Xiamen Rongjia Industrial Co., Ltd. has developed an innovative organic waste microbial treatment technology that has gained recognition at the national level. The project has been included in the National Key New Products list, the National Key Environmental Protection Practical Technologies, and the National Key Scientific and Technological Achievements Promotion Plan. It has also received support from the National Development and Reform Commission under the resource conservation and environmental protection project initiative. This advanced technology offers a sustainable solution for managing solid waste in urban areas, industrial and mining enterprises, and educational institutions across China. By utilizing microorganisms, the process efficiently breaks down organic waste through enzymatic degradation, converting up to 96% of the material into heat energy, carbon dioxide, water, and a small amount of ammonia. The remaining 4% consists of inorganic minerals, bacterial matrix, and microbial residues, which are safe and beneficial for the environment. The entire system operates in a fully automated and enclosed environment, ensuring no secondary pollution is generated during the process. After processing, the residue has been tested by relevant research institutions and found to be highly beneficial for soil improvement. It contains 82.5% organic matter, along with 0.037% total nitrogen, 0.966% total phosphorus (Pâ‚‚Oâ‚…), and 2.88% total potassium (Kâ‚‚O). These nutrient levels make it comparable to traditional organic fertilizers in terms of effectiveness. With a volumetric efficiency of 100% and a reduction rate exceeding 96%, this technology significantly outperforms conventional waste management methods. For instance, using the RJW-550A organic waste microbiological machine to process one ton of organic waste costs only 165 yuan, while the final disposal cost for domestic waste in Xiamen exceeds 300 yuan per ton. This makes the technology not only environmentally friendly but also economically advantageous, offering a promising path toward sustainable waste management.
