Box Alarm in Woodstock, 1-4-15

The Woodstock Fire Rescue Department was called to 1033 Wanda Drive for a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, firefighters noticed smoke coming from the roof. About 15 minutes into the response, the incident commander escalated the call to MABAS Box 5-32 and activated the box alarm level.
Several fire companies were dispatched to the scene. The responding units included Engines from Huntley and Nunda Rural, a Truck from McHenry Township, Chiefs from Crystal Lake and Union, a Squad from Wonder Lake, and an RIT unit from Union. A Mess Canteen was also on standby. The COQ included units from Marengo EMS, Spring Grove, Rutland-Dundee, Harvard EMS, and Algonquin.
