New engine for Grayslake FPD (more)

Grayslake Fire Department in Illinois held a wet-down and push-in ceremony today at Station 1 to officially welcome their new Rosenbauer pumper truck. Engine 271 is now on duty, replacing the old Seagrave that will be relocated to Station 3. The event was a great opportunity for firefighters and community members to come together and celebrate the arrival of the new equipment.

The new engine represents an important upgrade for the department, ensuring they are well-equipped to serve the community with modern, reliable technology. It’s always exciting to see these kinds of events, where the hard work of the firefighters and the support of the local community come together in a meaningful way.
