The McCook Fire Department responded to a fire early Saturday morning, around 4:00 AM on January 26th, at a 100x100 semi repair shop located at 5300 Lawndale Avenue. The area had very limited access and no nearby hydrants, which made the firefighting efforts more challenging. To make matters worse, the temperature was around -2 degrees Fahrenheit, adding to the difficulty of the situation.
