Launch of "World Famous Brand" Campaign for Chinese Enterprises

According to an official notice released by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), the evaluation process for China's world-famous brand products has officially begun. This information was shared during a meeting held by the Secretary-General of the Professional Committee of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association on May 16. The initiative is part of the broader strategy to promote and recognize top-tier Chinese brands globally. The notice outlines specific criteria that enterprises must meet in order to be considered for the title of "China's World-Famous Brand Products." First, the declared products must have a high global output and export volume, placing them among the world's leading producers. Second, these products should have been exported to numerous countries and regions, with registered trademarks in major exporting markets, ensuring strong international recognition and influence. Third, at least 20% of the company’s total sales must come from self-owned products, while over 50% of its exports should be of self-branded goods, with an export value of no less than $50 million. Additionally, the product's sales must rank within the top five globally in its industry. Fourth, the company must have a solid marketing and R&D network abroad, along with a comprehensive after-sales service system. Fifth, the brand must hold a leading position in terms of economic performance within its industry, with annual sales exceeding 10 billion yuan. Sixth, the company must demonstrate strong R&D and innovation capabilities, with core technologies protected by independent intellectual property and high technological content. Finally, the trademark of the declared brand must have a history of at least 10 years or more. It's also worth noting that the evaluation process will not involve any fees, and all application materials must be submitted by June 15. This initiative reflects China's growing ambition to elevate its domestic brands on the global stage, promoting quality, innovation, and international competitiveness.
