China National Heavy Duty Truck (Sinotruk) is making significant strides in integrating into the global auto parts supply chain. Recently, a batch of 400 wheel units was loaded into containers at the wheel plant of Sinotruk's commercial vehicle division, marking the company's first-ever export of wheel products. This milestone represents a major step forward in the company's international expansion strategy.
In recent years, Sinotruk has been actively collaborating with global truck industry leaders like Volvo, aiming to incorporate advanced international technologies and enhance the technical capabilities of its heavy-duty automotive components. By doing so, the company is not only improving product quality but also positioning itself as a key player in the global auto parts market.
Over the past year, various components from Sinotruk have started to make their way into international markets. The wheel factory, in particular, has successfully stabilized its domestic operations while gradually expanding into overseas markets. The shift from sporadic exports to bulk shipments has led to a significant increase in export volumes, with wheels now being shipped to countries such as Singapore, Nigeria, and Thailand.
According to recent data, from January to September this year, the wheel factory achieved sales of 279,000 units, representing a 103% year-on-year growth. Revenue reached 91.24 million yuan, up 95% compared to the same period last year, surpassing the annual target by 101%. Of this, 15.26 million yuan came from exports, exceeding the annual export plan by 139%.
This success highlights Sinotruk’s growing influence in the global automotive industry and signals a promising future for its international business expansion. As the company continues to invest in innovation and quality, it is well on its way to becoming a major supplier in the global auto parts ecosystem.
