China National Heavy Duty Truck (Sinotruk) is making significant strides in integrating into the global auto parts supply chain. Recently, a batch of 400 wheel units was loaded into containers at the wheel plant of Sinotruk's commercial vehicle division, marking the company's first major export shipment of wheel products. This milestone reflects the company’s growing international presence and its commitment to expanding beyond the domestic market.
In recent years, Sinotruk has actively partnered with global automotive leaders like Volvo, adopting advanced technologies to elevate the quality and performance of its heavy-duty truck components. These collaborations have helped the company strengthen its position in the international supply chain and open up new market opportunities.
As part of its global expansion strategy, Sinotruk has started exporting a wide range of components to several countries, including Singapore, Nigeria, and Thailand. The wheel factory, in particular, has not only stabilized its domestic operations but also successfully entered the international market, witnessing a sharp rise in exports—from small-scale shipments to bulk deliveries.
According to recent data, from January to September this year, the wheel factory achieved sales of 279,000 units, representing a 103% year-on-year increase. Revenue reached 91.24 million yuan, up 95% compared to the same period last year, surpassing the annual target by 101%. Export revenue alone reached 15.26 million yuan, completing 139% of the annual export plan.
This success underscores Sinotruk’s growing influence in the global automotive industry and signals its strong potential for future international growth. With continued investment in technology and market expansion, the company is well-positioned to become a key player on the world stage.
