Chicago firefighters worked through the night and into the early morning hours to contain a massive, extra-alarm fire at a warehouse in Logan Square on Tuesday.

The blaze started just before midnight in the 2700 block of North Pulaski Road, near the rear of the building. Fire crews were quickly on the scene, but the situation escalated quickly.

The incident was upgraded to a 3-11 alarm, with hazardous materials units also dispatched due to potential risks. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, and officials are working to determine if any injuries occurred.
