I just wanted to share this quick update because I happened to be driving by around 3 a.m. on Friday and saw all the commotion. There was a massive fire at a house on West Grover near 57th Street. Fire trucks lined up for what seemed like blocks, and the whole area smelled like smoke even hours after it happened.
I snapped a couple more photos with my phone while I was there. The damage looks pretty extensive—most of the front of the house is charred black. It’s sad to see something like that happen, especially so early in the morning when everyone should feel safe in their homes.
If anyone knows the family who lived there or has any updates, let me know. I’m sure they could use support right now.
