Truck 9 is equipped with a 2010 Spartan/Crimson aerial ladder, while Truck 55 features a 2002 Pierce Dash. According to Steve, the fire originated in the basement and began to spread upward.
The photos show the response in action. Truck 9 was staged with its new aerial unit, ready for roof operations. Truck 55 was the first to arrive and immediately headed to the roof. The firefighters worked quickly to assess the situation, with some entering the structure to check for fire extension.
Engine 11 was positioned down the block as part of the staging effort. Another engine, Engine 119, was also on scene as the "still" engine, waiting for further instructions. The images give a clear view of the firefighters' coordinated efforts and the challenging conditions they faced during the incident.
