FAW liberation produced one engine in 2010 and sold a single vehicle. This double-shift production did not meet market demand. For this reason, the task for 2011 was to double the production capacity of heavy-duty trucks. According to the plan of FAW's liberation, the current production capacity of 150,000 engines in the Qingdao base will reach 300,000 in 2011, and the same 150,000 vehicle production capacity in Changchun base will reach 300,000. It is understood that in 2010, the total sales of heavy trucks of FAW Jiefangzhong are expected to reach 260,000 units, with a market share of 20.3%. The annual growth rate of up to 56% has far exceeded the industry growth rate by 13%, of which the main product J6 has achieved 60,000 sales. To this end, FAW Liberation has made clear its marketing goals for 2011. The target of the guarantee is sales of 270,000 units, a market share of 22.5%, and a target of sales of 280,000 units, with a market share of 23%.

In addition, according to the product plan of FAW during the 12th Five-Year Plan period, FAW Liberation will receive more comprehensive independent research and development support. By 2015, the annual sales volume of liberation trucks will reach 420,000, including 360,000 medium and heavy trucks. The market share of medium-heavy vehicles will exceed 25%, and light trucks will be imported to create the first brand of commercial vehicles. At the same time, the light truck strategy has also been started. The production bases in Qingdao and Chengdu are planning to sell 100,000 vehicles at the end of the 12th. Therefore, the expansion of production capacity has important practical significance for the liberation of FAW.

It took seven years to emancipate J6 from starting R&D to debuting the market. I believe that J7 can be completed in only five years. It is understood that J6 as a positive research and development product, to overcome the high-quality heavy-duty vehicles, engines, automotive electronics, cab and manufacturing five major technical problems. In the 7 years of R&D, FAW Liberation further improved FAW's five major systems: independent R&D process and standards, quality assurance and product certification, project management and knowledge accumulation, talent cultivation and functional responsibilities, and independent innovation corporate culture. The research and development of FAW Jiefang J7 has started from the second half of 2010. The research and development of J6 system has invested 100 million yuan each year. In 2011, of the 2.4 billion R&D expenses of FAW Technology Center, the liberated brand received 400 million yuan of funds. It also received 300 million yuan (15-liter heavy truck engine project). These are all based on J7. In addition, in considering the reduction of product costs, FAW Liberal people has always insisted on technology to reduce costs, but this requires FAW to liberate with its component suppliers. At present, technical support for suppliers is free, but FAW is also considering cooperation models such as stakeholder suppliers.
