Diaphragms seal the valve body and seat, ensuring no contact with the environment. This makes them suitable for aseptic processes. When the valve is closed, the pressure seal that holds up the diaphragm moves towards the sealing face of the valve body. As the pressure plate moves, the diaphragm bends, forcing it toward the center of the seat area, thereby closing the flow path. The interaction between the valve body and pressure plate prevents the diaphragm from being pressed. The valve can be operated manually or via air, and can also be controlled using a control top and solenoid valve.
These valves are widely used in various fields such as beer, beverage, dairy food, fruit juice, pharmacy, and biological industries.
