In 2012, many Chinese companies participated in the SEMA tire show at Las Vegas Auto Show. In 2013, more Chinese companies appeared in the exhibition.
The 2013 SEMA exhibition attracted more than 90 tire companies and distributors from the Chinese mainland.
Domestic large-scale tire companies, including Double Money Co., Ltd. and Aeolus Tyre, have made efforts to increase their influence and brand awareness in the US market in recent years. At this exhibition, they all arranged large booths to showcase their products. Especially the triangular tires and the Qingdao coastal tires, both companies have caused a very big sensation in this exhibition.
Domestic exhibitors displayed many new products for passenger tires and light truck tires at the exhibition. Analysts pointed out that this aspect is affected by the recent reduction in tariffs. On the other hand, due to the lack of low-cost passenger tire production lines in the United States, such products are very popular in the United States.
