Before sharing some of my views with you, I would like to say a few words. The TEDA Forum has achieved remarkable results after 11 years. From the day before yesterday, especially yesterday’s meeting, not only are many experts, scholars and leaders. As a result, I will not follow the basics, not to talk about specific situations, but to share some of them with you, hoping to pay attention to our automotive field.

This year's car production should reach the level of last year and grow

My speech today is mainly focused on three aspects. The first aspect is to grasp the situation. The second aspect is to recognize the direction. The third aspect is to explore some opinions and suggestions on the transformation and upgrading of the new generation of information technology and the automobile industry.

As we all know, in another month or so, the Fifth Plenary Session of the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China will be held. At the Fifth Plenary Session, we should sum up the experience of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" and put forward the views on economic and social development during the "13th Five-Year Plan" period. It is suggested that the CPC Central Committee will make a resolution to guide our economic and social development during the 13th Five-Year Plan period. At such a time, I think we will consider summing up the achievements we made during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, especially the trajectory that the automobile industry has traveled. We can better grasp the "13th Five-Year Plan" period, especially in accordance with this meeting. The theme, we have a better grasp of the development vision and path to the 2025 automotive industry, I would like to introduce the relevant situation in this regard. During the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, our country's automobile industry has achieved remarkable results. I want to concentrate on the four aspects.

First of all, from the period of 2005 to 2015, during the ten-year period, our car production has increased from 5.71 million to 23 million. I think this is one of the rare achievements in the history of world automobile development. Results. If we look at the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period, it should be said that from the 18.42 million vehicles in 2011 to the 23.72 million vehicles last year, it should be said that the Chinese automobile industry has stood at the top of the world automobile industry for six consecutive years. of. We have had a lot of discussions about the situation and status of this year's auto industry. Before this, we have had several analyses. If you notice the expression in this article, I think it can also represent us. In the understanding of the automobile industry at the stage, we propose that this year's automobile production will increase on the basis of last year. I think that such a growth rate, now if you want to say an accurate forecast, it is difficult to make it. After the increase in automobile production in June and July, the automobile production in August has rebounded again. We hope that such a rebound will be carried out in the central government and will continue under the measures of greater growth and growth. This is reflected in the automotive industry, that is, this year's car production should reach the level of last year and increase. I would like to ask everyone to pay special attention to the automobile production from 2010 to 2011. You can notice that the increase in automobile production in that year is actually relatively small. Under this circumstance, we do not know the track of the development of automobile production this year. It is not possible to be similar to the situation from 2010 to 2011.

In the second aspect, we talk about the auto-innovation capability of the auto industry. Although we are now talking about the auto industry's ability to accelerate development, the independent innovation capability is not strong, and it is one of the most important issues we have encountered. However, if we look at it from a historical perspective, from the perspective of the five-year development of the 12th Five-Year Plan, it should be said that the Chinese auto industry is still advancing steadily on the road of independent innovation. We should say that there are three aspects to the sign of steady progress. . First, technological innovation has been introduced, digested, absorbed, and re-innovated, and has shifted to introduction, absorption, and innovation. We are at such a stage of transformation. Second, the establishment of various types of innovation organizations has played an important role in enhancing the independent innovation capability of China's automobile industry. In yesterday’s report, from Zhu Zong, Zeng Zong, and the former Liu Zong, they all agreed that all of our auto industry should strengthen cooperation on the road of autonomy. I want to innovate from the car’s technology and new energy. The strategic alliance of automotive electric vehicles, the establishment of these alliance organizations all marks that our independent innovation process is still actively moving forward. Third, in order to be in line with the developed countries, some independent brand car companies have been or are in the global R&D system. We can also see from the introduction of the bosses of some auto companies yesterday. In a word, the gap between the innovation capability of China's auto industry and developed countries is gradually narrowing.

The third aspect is the steady advancement of the structure of the automobile industry during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. An important sign of one aspect is that the industrial concentration is steadily improving. By the top ten automobile groups last year, the concentration has reached 89.4%. This concentration is a result of the positive promotion of industrial restructuring in recent years. Looking at this year's full year, it is possible that the top ten auto production in the auto industry will account for 90% of the total auto production. In addition, the occupancy rate of self-owned brand passenger cars has maintained growth. In the process of the growth of the entire automobile industry in a stable and stable manner, the passenger cars of independent brands have maintained rapid growth. We now use a major indicator for energy-saving and environmentally-friendly passenger vehicles with a small displacement of 1.6L and below. Judging from the situation in the first half of this year, the proportion of such a small-displacement passenger car is gradually expanding. In addition, progress has been made in the development of new energy vehicles. We are now experiencing multiple growth compared to last year. We hope that such a momentum can continue, although we hope to reach 500,000 during the 12th Five-Year Plan period. There is still a gap between the target and the target, but we say that the development of the entire new energy vehicle has become a boom, and it will become a highlight of our automotive sales.

The fourth aspect is that China's auto industry has made positive contributions to the global auto industry. When we talk about the status and role of Chinese autos, I think we must have such a perspective because China is An open big country, we are adhering to the reform and opening up as a guiding principle for our progress. At the same time, we also reform and open up in various fields to enhance our own competitiveness, and also provide many opportunities for foreign auto companies. From 2011 to 2014, the import and export of our country's automobile industry has reached more than 600 billion. From last year's situation, we imported more than 100 billion US dollars of cars and exported 82.6 billion US dollars. Such a quantity indicates that the Chinese automotive industry has made a positive contribution to the world's automotive industry.

At the same time, we must also see that the automotive industry is still facing some new challenges. This new challenge is from the perspective of the new normal. We are talking about the new normal. Many experts have interpreted these two days. The bosses of some auto companies also talked about their own understanding. From a macro perspective, the new normal is characterized by medium and high speed, excellent structure, new power and multiple challenges. As the automobile industry, we can now say without hesitation. China's auto industry has shifted from a quantitative expansion to an important stage of transformation and upgrading. We are currently experiencing important challenges. The outstanding performance is in four aspects. One aspect is the lack of innovation capability in the high-end technology field. The second aspect is that the development of the industry chain needs to be optimized. The third aspect is the lack of a large and strong core component industry system. The fourth aspect is the coordinated development mechanism of related industries, which needs further improvement. In response to these challenges, I think there is no doubt that it is necessary for us to work hard from the top down. We are adhering to the innovation-driven development strategy, while increasing the investment of enterprises, strengthening the research and development of key areas and technologies, and promoting the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. We are aware of this understanding of the development of the automotive industry at a new stage. We must emphasize that an important point is that China's macroeconomic situation is generally healthy and brings room for growth in the automotive industry. Now that we are facing a new stage of transformation and upgrading, we are simply not enough to expand by quantity, or as a time when we develop basic judgments, we think that such a consideration is not appropriate, but we also want to emphasize the Chinese automobile industry. The development of such a momentum has not stopped, we can understand from four aspects.

First of all, the demand for rigid car purchases continues unabated, and the quantity of possession continues to increase. Yesterday, the head of the Ministry of Chemical Industry said that the diesel used in the car is now growing, indicating that the growth of our passenger cars is actually not decreasing, and there is no Stop, I think everyone should have confidence in this.

The second aspect is the continued advancement of urbanization and the creation of new market space. We know that China's urbanization rate has reached 55%. We have about 13 million people every year, and the rural population has entered the city. These urbanization processes provide a very broad space for the further development of our automobile industry. We must also have confidence in this.

The third aspect is the upgrading of old cars, and the consumption capacity is gradually upgrading. Because we know that from the rapid development of China's automobile industry to the present, we have accumulated a certain amount of time. This trajectory from the developed countries shows that this supports important aspects of the development of the automobile industry.

The fourth aspect is that consumers are expanding their demand for new technologies, new products, and especially new energy vehicles. This is not only because of the car limit, but because the new energy car gives consumers a lot of new experiences, and the application of some new technologies, which also makes the new models more exciting among consumers. In addition, we must see that China is actively pursuing an open policy. With the promotion of the “One Belt, One Road” major strategy, it will bring more opportunities for the deep interaction between the Chinese auto industry and the neighboring countries’ auto industry and market. Along the "Belt and Road", it is not only China that wants to strengthen cooperation and exchanges between economy and trade, but also part of China is suitable for the local production capacity. The third aspect is that the automobile industry is improving quality and efficiency, and the pace of transformation and upgrading is accelerating. I think that in terms of development direction, important areas, and improvement and efficiency, we should see new developments in the automotive industry. The requirements are more reflected in the three transformation aspects from the development direction. It is our transformation and upgrading that we want to change from technology dependence to technology, from low-end market to mid-to-high-end market, to elite products to elite brands. In the second aspect, I would like to talk briefly about the acceleration of the use of next-generation information and the acceleration of transformation and upgrading. In China Manufacturing 2025, ten key areas are listed. In the ten key areas, energy-saving and new-energy vehicles are mentioned. In the middle of energy-saving and new-energy vehicles, three important directions are mentioned. I think they are also present. Enterprises should give more attention to the direction. The first is to support the engineering and industrialization capabilities of core technologies. The second is to form a complete industrial system and innovation system from key components to complete vehicles. I think these three key directions are not only the key areas identified in China Manufacturing 2025, but also the important direction for further development of our next car companies.

The automotive industry has basically reached the level of Industry 3.0

Compared with other industries in the manufacturing industry, China's auto industry believes that it has some very distinctive features. I think it is comparable to the industry as a whole. I think the auto industry has reached the level of informatization, or it is already in the information. The pace of progress on the road should be said to be early start, good foundation, application, and small gap. If we say that we have quite a few enterprises or enterprises in some industries, they are now the combination of industrialization and informationization, or industrial use. Policy guidance to promote the integration of information technology and automobile industry
