Dinghua Analysis of Ultrasonic Level Gauge Common Faults

The problem with common faults in ultrasonic level gauges is the top blue fault light. In conjunction with the actual list of the following solutions:
1. When the ultrasonic wave continues to zero level, the top light is on and the output current is 22MA. Moreover, when the level is restored after a period of time, the fault cannot be automatically cancelled, and it is necessary to turn the power off and restart normally. This brings unnecessary troubles and even losses to the customer (for example, when unattended at night).
This type of failure is the problem of the selection of mounting accessories. In addition to the planar head, the ultrasonic wave is emitted here. If there is a continuous zero position, use metal brackets for mounting parts. The ultrasonic level gauge will recognize that the signal strength of the bracket part is greater than the signal strength received by the flat head. The distance between the metal support part and the transmitted wave is in the blind zone. Therefore, the ultrasonic wave is in the protection state, the fault light is on, and the output is 22MA.
The solution is to use non-metallic stents. Because the non-metallic stent is used, the transmitted wave at the thread can penetrate, and the echo signal of the zero level will definitely be larger than the echo signal at the thread. After the above explanation and actual improvement, all the faults have been solved, and both the supplier and the buyer are happy. This further strengthened cooperation.
2. After debugging and reprogramming, the top fault light is always on, and the output current is 22MA. The reason why this kind of failure occurs is that after actual verification, it is still in the process of programming and debugging. The resulting program is disorderly and self-preserving. When the customer debugs the programming ultrasonic level gauge, it cannot wait for the normal flashing of the indicator light, or the programming method steps are not correct at all, and it is in unstable programming and debugging. If it is repeatedly programmed and debugged as required, the ultrasonic level gauge will refuse to work and protect itself. The solution to this failure is to reset the ultrasonic level gauge as required and reprogram it. If you reprogram multiple times without resetting, the above fault will occur.
The principle of an ultrasonic level gauge is to measure the time it takes for an ultrasonic pulse to go from launching to returning. The ultrasonic level gauge is vertically mounted on the surface of the liquid and emits an ultrasonic pulse to the liquid surface. After a period of time, the ultrasonic level gauge sensor receives the signal reflected from the liquid surface, and the signal is selected and processed by the transmitter circuit. The distance from the liquid level to the sensor is calculated based on the time difference between the ultrasonic level gauge sending and receiving ultrasonic waves.
