- Solids Handling Impeller: A two-vane, semi-open impeller that can handle solids up to 3 inches (76 mm) in diameter, depending on the model. The vanes on the impeller shroud help reduce material buildup behind the impeller, minimizing pressure on the seal and bearings for longer life.
- Exclusive Abrasion-Resistant Seal: A double-floating, self-aligning oil-lubricated mechanical cartridge seal with silicon carbide faces, ideal for abrasive wastewater environments.
- Removable Cover Plate: Allows quick access to the pump interior without disconnecting pipes. This feature enables fast clog removal and easy inspection or service of the impeller, seal, wearplate, and flap valve.
- Replaceable Wearplate: Fastened to the cover plate, these wearplates can be easily removed for inspection or maintenance, eliminating the need for costly replacements of castings.
- Removable Rotating Assembly: Makes it simple to inspect the shaft or bearings without disturbing the pump casing or piping. On most models, just remove four bolts from the back and slide out the assembly.
- Drive Variations: Available as basic units for customer power sources, or equipped with flex-couplings, V-belt drives, electric motors, or even gasoline/diesel engines. Standby engine power options are also available for motor-driven pumps.
