Conditions of Use

4. Maximum working pressure does not exceed 2.5MPa.

Installation Instructions
1. Ensure the pipe weight does not bear on the pump or vulnerable parts.
2. The pump is a fully integrated motor unit, pre-calibrated at the factory, so no adjustment is needed during installation, making it very convenient.
3. Before installation, carefully check for any foreign objects that may cause damage to the impeller or blockage.
4. Secure anchor bolts tightly and ensure all components are properly fastened to prevent loosening during operation, avoiding violent vibrations upon startup.
5. Install a control valve on the inlet and outlet piping and place a pressure gauge near the pump. For high lift systems, install a check valve before the outlet gate to protect against sudden power outages and other failures, ensuring optimal performance and extended pump life.
6. For suction applications, equip the pump with a shut-off valve and ensure the inlet pipe has minimal bends to prevent leaks that could affect suction performance.

Start and Stop
Preparation Before Starting
1. Manually rotate the coupling to ensure the impeller moves freely without grinding.
2. Open the inlet valve and exhaust valve to fill the pump chamber with liquid, then close the exhaust valve.
3. If transporting hot liquid, preheat the pump gradually at a rate of 50°C per hour through continuous circulation to ensure even heating.
4. Manually operate the pump several times to lubricate the mechanical seal face.
5. Check the motor rotation direction to ensure it is correct.
Start and Run
1. Fully open the inlet valve and close the discharge valve.
2. Connect the power and, once the pump reaches normal speed, gradually open the discharge valve and adjust to the required conditions.
3. Monitor instrument readings, check for shaft seal leakage (normal leakage is about 3 drops per minute), and ensure the motor and bearing temperatures remain below 70°C. Address any abnormalities promptly.
Shutdown
1. Gradually close the discharge valve.
2. Close the inlet valve.
3. If the ambient temperature is below 0°C, drain the pump to prevent freezing and cracking.
4. If the pump will be idle for a long time, disassemble, clean, package, and store it properly.

Repair and Maintenance
Operation, Maintenance, and Care
1. Ensure the inlet pipe is highly sealed to prevent leaks.
2. Prohibit long-term operation under cavitation conditions.
3. Avoid operating the pump at high flow rates for extended periods to prevent motor overcurrent.
4. Regularly monitor the motor current during operation to ensure the pump runs within design parameters.
5. Assign someone to monitor the pump during operation to avoid accidents.
6. Refuel the pump every 500 hours of operation.
7. After long-term use, mechanical wear may increase noise and vibration. Inspect and replace worn parts and bearings; the overhaul period is generally one year.
Mechanical Seal Maintenance and Repair
1. Ensure the mechanical seal lubricant is clean and free of solid particles.
2. Strictly prohibit dry running of the mechanical seal.
3. Before starting the pump, manually activate it a few times to prevent sudden start-up damage to the mechanical seal.
