Recently, at the press conference held by the Shandong Provincial Government Information Office, Liu Xucong, spokesperson and chief economist of the Shandong Provincial Economic and Information Committee, said that in 2013, Shandong Province recycled 124.74 million used tires.
According to media reports, from 2011 to 2013, Shandong Province supported the construction of 37 comprehensive utilization projects including waste tires. Liu Xucong said that Shandong Province has promoted the development of comprehensive utilization of resources through national and provincial financial support, with accumulated preferential funds of more than 20 million yuan.
It is reported that the comprehensive utilization enterprises of resources enjoying preferential tax policies in Shandong Province have reached 1,172, and the output value of comprehensive utilization products in the first quarter was 11.523 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 17.1%. At present, these enterprises can enjoy preferential policies such as VAT exemption, immediate refund or reduction of income tax by 90%.
