The machine is a rectangular drying chamber or tunnel in which belt conveyor equipment is placed. The conveyor belt is in the form of a mesh, and the airflow and the material are in a wrong flow, and the material is continuously dried in contact with the hot air during the forward movement. The conveyor belt can be multi-layered, with a bandwidth of 1 to 3 meters, a belt length of 4 to 50 meters, and a drying time of 5 to 120 minutes. Usually divided into a number of sections in the direction of movement of the material, each section can be equipped with a phoenix machine and a heater. The gas flow direction and the temperature, humidity and speed of the gas may be different in different sections, for example in the wet section, the gas velocity may be greater than the gas velocity of the dry product section.

The belt dryer has the advantage of continuously drying a plurality of solid materials simultaneously. The disadvantage is that both production capacity and thermal efficiency are low.
