The reporter recently learned from the Anhui Provincial Department of Commerce that since the beginning of this year, the import and export of mechanical and electrical products in Anhui has continued to grow. In the first three quarters, the total import and export volume reached US$16.23 billion, a year-on-year increase of 28.2, which drove the province's foreign trade growth by 10.8 percentage points. Among them, exports reached 11.82 billion US dollars, an increase of 26.5. It is understood that under the leadership of Lianbao Electronics, Chery Automobile, BOE Optoelectronics, Meizhi Air Conditioning, Jingao Solar and other key enterprises, the province's mechanical and electrical products exports have maintained a growth trend for six consecutive months. The export of five major categories of portable data processing equipment, household appliances, liquid crystal display panels, construction machinery, and ships has achieved varying degrees of growth. Among them, LCD panels increased by more than 50% year-on-year; portable data processing equipment, household appliances, and ships all achieved double-digit year-on-year growth. At the same time, in the first three quarters, the province's imports of mechanical and electrical products also achieved steady growth. Except for the decline in July and August, the other seven months maintained a year-on-year increase of more than 29. Among the major categories of mechanical and electrical products imports, metal products, machinery and equipment, electrical and electronic equipment, instrumentation and other types of mechanical and electrical products all increased by more than 22 years.
