On March 24, lead futures were officially listed on the Shanghai Futures Exchange. In the morning, 60,146 lots were traded and the turnover was 28.772 billion yuan. Lead-acid batteries are the largest consumer of lead, accounting for more than 70% of total demand. As the world's largest lead producer and consumer country, China's lead futures listing is of great significance in optimizing the lead price formation mechanism and improving the risk management level of lead upstream and downstream enterprises.
